This application was developed for Windows platforms and the highest supported version of Windows was Windows XP. This could be the reason why the software is giving you errors on Windows XP. Since there is no compatibility update for Windows 10, I recommend using Compatibility tweak. Right click the software's launcher/executable then go to Properties > Compatibility. Select Windows XP from the list and then launch the application.
I tried to do an upgrade on my Janome 11000. I was told this would correct the automatic threader that has never worked. I wiped out the entire program. The sewing machine part will not even work. My dealer says he does not know how to repair problem. Can it be repaired and where can this be done? This is my livelihood and my best friend. Please help with this problem?

If the machine is detected by the PC, then you can use a system upgrade utility to completely flash a new firmware. In some cases, the utility forces firmware writing in the NAND of the machine even if you have errors. It doesn't matter if it's not working as long as it's detected by PC. Use the Upgrade firmware package available on the official website. Download the version want (2.10 or 3.10) then unpack the archive. Start UpdateTool.exe and follow the procedure.
Warning: Read the note with the yellow background before proceeding to system flash.
Yes, the "Customizer 11000" software should work with Janome 10000 and Windows 10 64 bit.
